Are these phones made by Foxconn going to be labeled as Foxconn phones or as BlackBerry phones.
I think it would be better to be labeled as Foxconn so as not to tarnish for image with low end phones.
They should label them Foxconn using BB10.

No, they will be called BlackBerry phones, because it will be released by BlackBerry and Foxconn is only the contractor in the deal. Also the device has a codename called the BlackBerry Jakarta

Same deal as the PlayBooks... BlackBerry hired some other design/build manufacture to build the PlayBooks.

Same deal as all iPhones.... Apple doesn't bother with their own manufacturing... they don't have to worry about production cost like most Android builders do.


Foxconn will have to meet BlackBerry's design requirements.... but could anything really tarnish BlackBerry's image at this point?

Foxconn is just a contractor they make the phone (hardware) for blackberry. Just like how they make Apples iPhones..
