Um...if anyone has an insight into what can happen in these situations, it's those of us who lived through Palm/HP which a lot of WPC users did. It's not THAT hard to believe, particularly to make a real push into enterprise.

And was the derogatory and condescending attitude towards them necessary? Last I checked WPCentral was a member of MN just like CB.

    Edit

And wading through the comments over there, you're the only one behaving badly. "you know $&!? all"? Really? You're behaving like you're trolling WPC and coming back here to brag about it. Doesn't make CB look great...

They actually think Whatsapp messages are encrypted when they really arent therefore BBM is redundant. I have tears running down my face from fits of laughter.

    Microsoft had just bought Nokia.

On the other hand, Blackberry 10 is fundamentally sound and is capable of replacing the Windows NT Kernel.

You know, looking at reeneebob's signature, he's (she's?) owned devices for all recent, significant mobile operating systems, including BBOS and BB10. It doesn't appear he's/she's a fanboy/fangirl of any mobile operating system.

Lets keep it civil ladies and gentlemen.. there's no need for name calling and the like.. everybody is entitled to an opinion..

My 2 cents on the matter.. I don't think there's any truth to it at the moment, MS has just made a pretty major acquisition in Nokia.. don't think they are on the market for another at the moment.. BUT I could think of worse things.. I wouldn't be against Microsoft buying Blackberry so long as the product line was going to continue.

I think Microsoft is the most likely buyer honestly. It would give them instant enterprise access. They'd shutter the hardware division (Nokia make great hardware) and keep the BIS/BES noc running - and maybe license out BB10 to the likes of Samsung.

The only "hilariously stupid" thing I see from the article and comments is a BlackBerry fanboy trying to troll an otherwise interesting discussion. Nowhere is anyone saying this is definitely going to happen. It's a "what if" scenario, just like recent threads here.

You're making a fool of yourself. Hell, you're making a fool of all of Crackberry acting like this. From the comments:

So is Skype, Google Talk, WhatsApp, etc. All modern IM services use encrypted connections.
No, they don't. You know **** all.

That sounds like a nightmare waiting to happen. I think it should be fine end of BlackBerry if that happened.
