I was on a trip this week and saw not one, not two, but three BB10 phones. This may not sound like a big deal, but in the US they are hard to find and I've barely seen any......anywhere. I see BB's, but mostly older models, and mostly 9900's.

Sitting across from me in the departing airport is a guy talking about important insurance deals etc on his Q10.

Next day, my contact who is C-level manager at a private college, has a Q10.

Same day in airport, see a guy on the phone using a Classic. Yes....a Classic.

It was almost like being on Mars and finally seeing folks from Earth again.

Anyone else seeing any uptick in sightings?

I have seen every BB10 device in the wild except the Z30 and the classic (my dad has one but no one apart from that)

Completely stopped a manager of a Smash Burger restaurant in her tracks using my Passport here in Sacramento California yesterday. She stopped, watched and inquired as I was checking work emails, responding, moving between active frames and using the capacitive keyboard. She said mine was the second she had seen in the span of a couple days.(but was not the whiter version) She said she was board with her Samsung Galaxy S5 and would be looking at the BlackBerry Passport as her next device. Say what you may but this device is wicked awesome and a conversation piece. BlackBerry needs to stay patient and on course. People are noticing and nothing differentiates the candy bar all touch devices but the name.

That is a big deal if it happened in the U.S. I've never seen anyone but me with a BlackBerry in quite a while.

I was meeting with some public sector employees, and all three of them had Q10s for work, and one of them had an iPhone as well.

I've seen one person with a Passport, though not exactly in the wild since I was doing community service with them.

I've seen one Classic, again, not exactly in the wild.

I wish I could tell the touch phones apart from each other. I've seen a couple people with them.

I've seen a bit of an uptick lately, but I also moved from CT to Memphis and have been spending a lot of time in airports.

Here in the Detroit metro area, I have never seen anyone with a Blackberry device except myself.

I used to see some legacy devices when I was at auto companies doing business, but now it's all Android and IOS devices.

Just got back from grant panel meeting in the states and I just about hit the floor when I saw two passports in the room. Makes sense as these people are doing buckets of reading, writing and editing on the fly. You can't help but notice them and they do grab people's attention. Very smart move by BlackBerry.

"Whitler" is what I first read. LOL. I didn't even know that word or name before. No offense or bad intentions. Forgive me, my punny word play stuff sometimes messes with me... :-D

Here in Canada I see bb10 quite often. It seems as though BlackBerry's reputation is better in Canada than it is in the USA

I've seen mostly Z10s and Z3s. No single Z30 spotted around me. Looks like I'm the only one to be using a Z30.

Whatever be the case, it really feels good to spot another BlackBerry around.

    I see z30s, z10s and q10s... I have seen a single passport and a few classics.

I'm in toronto, the BB's native habitat.

What I saw on Friday was interesting... someone carrying both an iPhone 5 or 5s and a z10: they were surfing on the z10, the iPhone was clenched in their other had but not being used.

Which was the work device and which was the personal device? I could imagine someone wanting to use their work data plan instead of their personal one during their commute, but I can also imagine someone preferring using a BB10 device to surf the web... I saw the person's screen: four Active Frames were open so they were doing more than browsing.
