Finally all the BlackBerry core apps on Google Play such as BlackBerry Keyboard and Camera reached 500,000 installations..

This are the apps exclusive to BlackBerry devices..

Even if it is still a really low number (for comparison BBM has 100M downloads!) It is nice to see a small community growing.

Hopefully the KEYone and Aurora will only increase this number..
The next milestone to look at is one million..

That's a minimum of 500k downloads, somewhere between 500,000 and 1,000,000.

Google says it's "the number of unique users who have ever installed this app. We only count one install regardless of how many different devices they installed it on. It includes the users who have later uninstalled the app."

This number does not count pre-installed apps with it and never updated. Once you update a pre-installed app for the first time it adds it to your Google Play account and it gets counted as 1, after that any update you have or other device you use that has that app will not be counted again.

So there is a minimum of 500,000 unique accounts associated with this app. That means these users could have multiple BlackBerry Android devices, like me and/or they could have it installed on other Android devices, like me.

Tho the Facebook Home app on Google Play reached 500,000 downloads in a week when released in 2013.

It would be nice to hear from BlackBerry how many they sold, a thing we haven't heard in quite a while. Perhaps BBMobile will.
