Finally, Hotmail's mobile web access for Hotmail & Live accounts is back online after it went dark at least 6-8 months ago. If it's not BB10's ongoing OS issues, BB's FB failing, then BB's Twitter issues, it's Hotmail Mobile prolonged outage, etc. It's like they're all in a contest to see which one can irritate their users the most. I can't believe there haven't been any recent posts about the incredibly long Hotmail Mobile access outage. Am I the only one that got a blank white screen that simply said 'bad request' with little bitty text in the top left corner since well into last year? Do most of you just POP & SMTP hotmail on your devices which could explain why you wouldn't have known?

After my 4 yr old 9850 out-of-the-box OS7.0 flatlined in early December 2015, I got a new VZW BB10 Z30 (more on my BB10 & Z30 workflow shock later) in early January 2016 & thought the newer OS & updated browser would be the fix but I got the same blank screen up until two days ago. But it could have been up since a week or so ago since I last checked.

Since its return, Hotmail Mobile's interface has changed from the older simple version. It is actually their 'lite' version that is available in the full version's option menu for slower PCs & it's just about as basic feature-limited as the previous mobile version but at least it works now. Hopefully it's not temporary like all these other abandoned BB applications I've recently discovered in many posts on this site. It has really been a surprising shock at the decline of BlackBerry since getting this new BB10 Z30 coming from a 4 yr old 0S7 device, but more on that later. It is unbelievable how they have let what was a great service with reliable devices degrade into what it has become.

I've had a couple instances where I had "Hotmail not responding" messages in my hub.... I just went to settings and turned my sync email off, saved it, then went back, turned it on, and the Hotmail issue was resolved. Actually, I had to do that just today.

Why not just set it up via Exchange Active Sync through the Hub?

I don't get it. If I type "hotmail.com" into my browser, it just redirects to outlook.com, which is where all hotmail, live, and outlook email accounts now live.
