Well I guess I ****ed it up then...
Cause I deleted both the At&t theme and the Today theme...
    Now what?
    I'm not noticing any problems...
Should I put them back on there?
    There goes my 2Mb.
It will be OK as long as you do not use any Today themes. The real no-no is the zen theme net_rim_theme_bbdimension_zen_320x240_b.cod
because it is 4 times the size of the others and it has got all the stuff that's needed for all themes. The others only seem to affect themes of the same type.

If it works now, then it will stay working.

Leave it as is and use it for a while, see if there's any glitches. I really don't think you'll have any issues.

    Ok..
So to recap I have the Zen, Icon, and Corkberry theme.
    And that should be good?

    Thanks Chaz and Pete.
I'll keep an eye on it for glitches..

    That should be totally fine!

Unless the Corkberry needs one of the other core themes to work. Is the CorkBerry a Today style them or Icon style... I forget.

I, like Chaz, only kept the Zen and the TMo Zen one for my 8320!

    It's an Icon style theme.
    So I should be ok.

    Thank you all so much.
    Greatly appreciated.

I didn't do as much as others did here, but you're quite welcome.
    My pleasure.

I'm only asking this in this thread cause I already started it.
And I don't want to start another for something stupid.

But the reason why I don't use the Zen theme is that
I don't like that you can't customize the icons on the main screen.

Is there a way to do this that I don't know about?

Moving and placing the icons is driven
by the theme itself. No real way around it.

    Ah, ok.
    Thanks for the quick response.

After you do Stoners "memory free procedure" do you have to do a battery pull?

From what I've heard, no. But there's no harm in it (or so I wouldn't think anyway).

No, you do not. When you delete an app, the phone decides if it needs a re-boot, just like Windows.

If you're referring to the Dimension Zen theme that comes with the BB, then yes - you can select which icons are on the Zen screen. When you're in the full icon screen, just move the ones you want to the top row. Then when you hit the back key, they will be the 5 icons on the left side of the screen.

I just wanted to update this thread,
for those that browse the forums for info.

I was keeping up to ten days of SMS/emails,
and trying to delete everything previous to that to save memory.

Well just now I check my phone and it was down to 19MB.
    (Damn memory leak!)
So I deleted all the messages prior to July 1st.
    Then did a battery pull.

    Now I'm at 26MB!

I apparently text way too much.
I had no idea messages can really eat up so much of your memory.

I did Stoners method to free up some memory, and to realized the same thing. I also ended some of my conversations on BBM and found that it doesn't take up as much memory as SMS.
