I searched long and hard for this, Especially since Rove Dropped the application last Sept. 08'

But I found it and installed it on my 8830WE and it works great. A little configuration to get to your files but, if you know what a File Manager for your BB is, you can handle it.

For OS 4.1 up

Here is the Path:

Steps:

Load it via desktop manager
Configure as follows:

Once you start it you will see "Mobile File Manager" Screen and a browse network Icon.


1)
Hit the BB button, Settings

Application Settings: Nothing to change here Windows settings:

-Windows browser host: your desktop pc eg: Yourpc003
-Windows User Name: Yours
-Windows Password: *******

Enter this info and hit the BB button and save it.


2)
Hit the BB button, select New

Windows file sharing,

Name: What ever you want it to be
URL: smb://Server/directories/BBarney "or where ever you directory is"
Username:
Password:
