Okay, so for everyone that is wondering how the heck to get normal "call logs" in your call logs folder do this:

1) Hit the call key (green)
2) MENU
3) OPTIONS
4) GENERAL OPTIONS
5) Switch the "Phone List View" to "Call Log" - mine was on "most used"(!!)

I cannot even tell you the satisfaction in figuring this out!! Now both the single hit call screen and the call logs folder has real call logs with dates/times/received, missed, and made!

The irony is we DID ask...many of us...and no one was giving an answer that worked. Anyway, at least I figured it out.

Thanks though. All the forums I searched and everything. Ill have to post this elsewhere on the other forums where people couldn't find.

Just wanna make sure people who want the info can find it.
