I hope to god that those leaked pics of the qwerty are NOT final hardware, or at least the back door...
Really? It causes you to invoke prayer?

Reading the report it seems to have the LTE band for Telstra in Oz too. 850 is the one I think, is that right?

Even if one of these pics is final hardware (we clearly saw two revisions based on the two different backs), the simple fact of the matter is that until there are actually high quality pics of the device you cannot really judge it properly as seen by the changing response to the l-series.

The Z10 doesn't do 1800 MHz. Australia uses 1800 MHz exclusively (like a lot of countries). This is crazy. Our networks have spent billions to upgrade to LTE and RIMs flagship phone won't be able to access it.

Don't worry, I am sure they realize that. This is from a FCC filing, which is American. It just means that the NA version doesn't do 1800 Mhz.

Research In Motion-LTE/W-CDMA/GSM Terminal "RFF91LW" passes FCC with a 12/30/2012.
    FCCID is a L6ARFF90LW.
    RFF91LW pass FCC frequency below.
    706.5-713.4 (B17) MHz, LTE 700 MHz 824.7-848.2 (B5) MHz, LTE 850 MHz 1710.7-1754.2 (B4) MHz, LTE 1700 MHz 1850.7-1909.2 (B2) MHz, LTE 1900 MHz 826.4 to 846.6 MHz, W-CDMA 850 (V) 1852.4-1907.6 MHz MHz, W-CDMA 1900 (II) 824.2 MHz to 848.8 MHz, GSM 850 MHz 1850.2 To 1909.8 MHz:GSM 1900 MHz, 2402.0-2480.0 MHz, Bluetooth 2412.0-2462.0 MHz, Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11 b/g/n 5180.0-5240.0 MHz, Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11 a/n 5260.0-5320.0 MHz, Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11 a/n 5500.0-5700.0 MHz, Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11 a / n 5745.0-5825.0 MHz, Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11 a/n 13.56 MHz RFID,
    Mobile network LTE 1900 (B2) (B4) 1700 / 850 (B5) / (B17) 700 MHz, and w-CDMA 1900 / 850 (II) has to go through (V) MHz, GSM 1900 / 850 MHz.
Going through even the frequency of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Wireless LAN communications are supported in the IEEE 802.11 a/b / g/n. In addition to the 2.4 GHz Wireless LAN communication in the 5.xGHz belt also become possible. Rather than going through the RFID frequency even shows NFC enabled. RFF91LW is a number of unreleased devices.
Would be adopted in 10 BlackBerry OS smartphone. United States AT

The FCC approval usually includes non-US bands, to allow travelers with local frequencies to carry their NA-export phones when visiting USA. Looks like this variant will not be exported to Australia... or a lot of other places.

There are probably some territories where "foreign" frequency bands will conflict on technical grounds, or may prevent approval for legal reasons. A classic example which always causes problems would be where the local system uses a reversed frequency shift between transmit and receive, but there will be many other more subtle examples.

The only thing I'm really disappointed in that hasn't been mentioned here is the fact its using a single antenna and will not support simaltaneous Voice and data so looks like we on verizon are in the same boat as the iPhone5 people who weren't happy about not being able to surf and talk. Oh well... Not a deal breaker but disappointing for me. I have gotten used to being able to talk and surf over here in Japan. I also hope that the verizon phone can be unlocked and used over here in Japan.

No, what will not be able to access your LTE network is the NA variant of the device, but that is not an issue since carriers do not actually have LTE roaming agreements in place due to the wide variation in frequencies being used.

Simultaneous voice and (cellular) data is a feature of the network technology, there is no reason a single antenna design would prevent support. Most of the recent 3G phones have been single antenna, and both services work concurrently - except on the obsolete CDMA networks in North America.
