do you use this on your storm? are there any problems with the storm and the beta-5. I went to download it and got a message that it is not tested for my device, i should try 4.2. What should i do? Thanks

Your phone isn't really doing the browsing for the most part.
Think of it like playing a game on your home PC through remote desktop. The device you're doing the remote desktop from isn't actually handling the game...

This may be one of the few times I've been in favor of cheating...
guys! I am a newbie and use the browser that comes with the BB Tour on VZW.
It is really slow. Can you suggest one of the other browsers you guys are playing with?
what should I know about your choice?

Go with to boltbrowser.com on your Berry and download it. It's fast and easy to use. Since you're a noob, you should stay away from Opera Mini for now.

Just curious why you say that... I use both and don't find one to be any harder/easier to use than the other. Some websites work better with the default browser than either two as well.

Well, Privacy is a major downside but I do love the Bolt Browser. Safari is by far the best mobile browser on the planet and the competition is 3 years behind. But, OMG At&t is killing the iPhone right now. America's fastest 3G my culo!

You're right, the sites do look better on the default browser but trying going to Hp.com, IGN.com or Crackberry.com. It takes almost 2 mins for each page to load and most images never load.

Not really 3 years. There are some 3rd party webkit based browsers that offer a similar experience and aren't even final yet. That and Safari is lacking some things that other browsers already have had for a while.
Privacy is a downside since you basically are using your information/data on someone else's "computer" and have no idea how they handle, encrypt, or what they do with it. The other downsides are that Opera Mini is java based, doesn't fully load large pages (it will just stop loading the images at some point), is less customizable than most browsers, etc.
