Sorry but this design is a step backward. Looks more of a curve than bold.

BlackBerry took a change when they changed the Bold line to look like the 9700, maybe this could be a litle change from the Q10 line too.

Don't care this thing is hideous. The Q10 design has a certain class that bold line has a reputation to adhere to. This concept looks like a Chinese knockoff.

Long screen doesnt make sense, device would be too tall and top heavy.
Not if it's designed so that the bottom of the phone is heavier than the top to balance that problem out.

For this concept Q30 I'd have the length of the phone the same as the length of the Z30 for that extra centimetre or so of screen.

Clever positioning of internals as balast could keep the weight of the phone heavier at the bottom to reduce the top heavy feel when typing.

That'd pretty much be like the other guy's concept, except youde have to add gesture swipe room, which he did not.

I think that the Q10 has the right size anything larger that has a physical keyboard will not (in my opinion) have a market, eventually we would be carrying our laptops with us instead

I disagree with yon, i think a lot of of people didn't have a try with the Q10 because of its tiny screen.
A 4" screen would suffice to both professionals with physical keyboard need and entertainment consumers who want a decent screen estate: on the Q10 BBM Channels is really a bad experience as you can't view a picture in its entirety without clicking 3 times on it! Also youtube is kind of painful...
I know for sure i'd buy in a heartbeat even a 1:1 ratio 7.2cm x 7.2cm Q30 because i'd be able to enjoy both practical advantage of a Q10 and a Z10 (even if Z10 screen is bigger, such a Q30 would allow a more pleasing multimedia experience).
