I recently downloaded the new facebook version as I was instructed to do so. After I did, my blackberry folder titled 'messages' was bombarded by facebook messages, wall posts, etc. dating back seven months. It showed 2 for everything. I performed a 'delete prior' and it took care of one of each, but it will not allow me to delete the other messages. I've tried everything. The facebook messages and such no longer exist on my facebook account, so I am unable to even attempt to delete them that way. I don't know what else to do. Can anyone please help?

From the Facebook app > Go into Options > Make sure the "Blackberry Messages Application" is unchecked so you will no longer receive the emails or that they will go into the message inbox. Since you said the "Delete Prior" didnt work have you tried a battery pull for 30 seconds?
