I dont know what happened. But last night i pick up my phone to text a few friends. When i push the trac ball down it runs a search through my adress book with "Qe" as the query. Whenever i push the trac ball this is alll it does. Ive tried hard reset, soft reset and battery pull. Also did a complete phone wipe, and nothing has changed. HELP!!! FOR THE SAKE OF THE BLACK BERRY
I've had this problem before. I have a curve, and I don't know if this will work on other devices, but it worked for me:
Go to OPTIONS and STATUS. Type "test" without the quotations. Hit the MENU button and start the test. You'll only need to do the first part. Hit all the keys on your BlackBerry during the keyboard test.
This worked to fix mine. I don't know how or why, but it did. Good luck!
