Nokia buys Symbian, turns software over to Symbian Foundation - Engadget
This is going to mean less Symbian/UIQ phone makers (except Nokia, of course) and, I guess more manufacturers using Windows Mobile.
Now if they can just make WM work right.....

nokia already owned a huge part of symbian and so did a few other companies like sony ericsson. i guess they now just bought the rest of the shares.
