    Should I have encryption enabled or disabled? Might be a stupid question but just not sure

    If it is enabled and you change phones for any reason your SD card will not be readable by a PC or another phone. I have it off for that reason.

    Isn't it the whole idea of having encryption set to "security password" (instead of "device" or "security password & device") -- so files can be salvaged on a different device using the same password? I hope someone can shed some light on this ...
