    Hello,
I have just completed typing up my resume on docs to go for the Playbook. The place that I am sending it to said that they would prefer if I emailed my resume, so what's the best format for it? I named and saved it and it has ".doc" after it. Sometimes I see files with ".docx" after...should I change it to that? Can a Docs to Go file be opened on a normal computer? I don't want them to not be able to open the file once they recieve it...
Thanks in advance for the help.

P.S. I put this in general discussion because I believe that docs to go is also on BB smartphones

Email your resume as a .Doc file

for your cover letter, email it as a .Doc File as well as type out the full coverletter in the body of the email.

your .DOC file from Documents to go will open on any device that supports .Doc file types, though if you have some funky formatting it may get lost

    .doc is the right format

Connect your playbook to your computer (i.e. home screen drive) and open it

I can open .doc files made on my playbook on my desktop
