Hey ya'll... Im a blackberry newbie (well not really, Ive had two but I didnt really know how to use them, so I got rid of them) and I remember when I had a blackberry pearl last time, I would receive emails, and texts and they would disappear on me... I recently purchased the blackberry 8830, and am curious as to how I can prevent disappearing texts and emails. Any suggestions?

Keep your free memory as much as possible. When your low on memory text and emails and even calendar events begin to delete

Like BBICON said you need to watch your file free memory levels and make sure you aren't too low. When you get too low it will automatically delete your messages/emails. If you want to set it up so it automatically deletes them after a certain amount of time so that you know when they will be deleted you need to go into your messages > menu key > options and in the ACTIONS part you can set the time you want for it to be deleted.
