    I just got back from a vacation in the Caribbean. For some reason however, my email notifications are no longer coming through on my blackberry nor are my Facebook alerts. Since I was roaming while on vacation did these notifications get turned off? If so, how do I turn them back on? I have the Blackberry 8830 World Edition. Thanks.

    does it say EVDO or evdo on your screen. go to options > advanced options > host routing table, hit the BB button, select register now. that will re-register you on the blackberry network.
