I don't think there is an easy way but is it possible to customize blackberry mail program to separate your inbox with your sent items? Right now, they are only distinguishable with a different icon in front of the email....

I don't think you can separate them but you can click alt-i to view the inbox or alt-o to view your sent items.

You can select Hide Sent Items in the options so they don't show in the inbox, and like vol_freak said, use ALT I and ALT O to switch back and forth if need be.
