just got the tour and love it (after ditching the iphone) and is there any way to view email in plain text automatically instead of having to select it from the drop down menu each time? my incoming emails are coming in different sizes and colors every time

The email size issue is an OS bug that will have to be fixed by an OS upgrade. I haven't experienced different colors.

Go to messaging-options-email settings and uncheck enable html email.
