    Hi everyone,

Well, I have the itch to upgrade from my trusty dtek50. Previously, I had a Priv but never used the keyboard much. I really just didn't care for it. Prior to that I had a Z10 and prior to that, a Curve 9850.

So, it's been awhile since I have had a pure PKB device. I must admit, I have become acclimated to typing on glass. I also vaguely recall what a pleasure it was (at the time) to type on a PKB.

I'm concerned, however, that the PKB experience and "re-learning" to type on a PKB won't be nearly as rewarding as it once was given how well the BlackBerry VKB works.

Thoughts? Has anyone else made this transition?

The BlackBerry KEYone and Motion are both great devices and I could easily recommend you upgrade to either of those.

However, if I was you, I would wait and buy a KEY2 instead. You can't go wrong upgrading to the KEY2. I know I'm grabbing one.

Also, does anyone find that voice dictation has largely replaced typing in general, besides when in a quiet area or where you are unable to talk?

The Key2s PKB is light-years better than the one on the Key1. If you ever used a Passport or tried it you know how it feels. keys are tactile perfection and easy to press.

try it and you'll fall in love again. I did and I love swiping on my DTEK60. which btw now also works on the PKB of the Key2

Price not an issue, but functionality is critical.

I will also be getting the K2 when my contract is to be renewed. If the pkb is anything like my passport I will be more than happy. Also have the dtek50 and happy with it also. Even if I do get the new K2 I will not stop using the passport
