Stop using it, take out the battery and let it dry out.

I think that is your best chance.

Yup. If you're trying to use it wet or you turn it on without letting it dry fully, you'll fry it if you haven't already. It's not the water that hurts it, it's water + current.

I've heard several others with unfortunate wet berries say that submerging it in the rice works and thats what they were told to do by rim support, that it sucks out the moisture.

I have a friend who also dropped his Pearl in the toilet and after it dried out, it worked fine. Just put it in rice like these folks are telling you, and it should be fine.

Putting it in a bag of uncooked rice works the best, but you can also take it apart and use a blowdryer on the low temp setting.

I love it! Maybe the Browns weren't playing in this Super Bowl.

Several years ago, I did the same thing. Had the phone in my shirt pocket and leaned over the bowl and out plopped the phone. I got it out quick, but it wouldn't work. I made the fatal decision to turn it on and try to get it to work and it fried it. I hope you haven't done this. Anyway, i tried the rice thing and it worked great, but too late--the phone was alread ruined. I had to pay the deductible on the insurance and get a refurbished phone.

A couple of years ago, my son was sleighriding and lost his phone out of his jacket. It lay in the snow for several hours and luckily he had it turned off. We searched for it and found it and didn't turn it on. We had some Uncle Ben's in the pantry and just removed the battery and put all parts in the rice. It worked like new a day later. Give it a try.

You're really lucky. When something like that happens, general advice is to leave it drying for at least 12 - 24 hours. It takes a long tome for it to dry fully.

The rice tricks works wonders! I've used it before. One mistake a lot of people do is take it out too early and fry there phone by turning it on. I leave mine in the rice for 24-48 hours.
