So i've noticed i've been having this problem, but when i log into my blackberry internet and go to something with a drop down menu, the menu opens but my cursor wont get inside the box and if i try pressing the first letter of the option i want, when i click enter it goes back to the first item of the drop down menu.. is there a way to fix this?

Try a battery pull. Device on, yank the battery and replace in 30 seconds, see if it helps.
