I'm a recent owner of my first blackberry, 8830, from Bell in Canada.

I have a unlimited email plan, which doesn't include browsing. I really would like to have freeware applications such as Google Maps. Is there a way to have access to it other than downloading it via. the mobile browser?

For example, is there a way to download these apps to my SD card and transfer it?

    Thanks!

Sorry, you have to download either over the air from the web browser or onto your pc,then use the desktop manager to put onto your blackberry, you cant download apps to a microsd, only onto the devices memory.

    Hi Chaz,

That link you provided is for a download straight to the phone.

I'm interested in installing it via the Desktop Manager. I notice a link for IT Admins at google.com/gmm/bes

Would this allow me to install it via desktop manager?
