I am quite new to this - 1 day actually.

I have a Curve on Sprint using the default Sprint theme.

My top two icons are Messages and my blackberry.net email

When I get an email, both icons alert. It does not look very clean or efficient.

Anyway to consolidate or remove the main screen icons ?

You're stuck with both of them. You can move one of them down the screen a ways so it doesn't show up on the top screen, though.

To move icons: on the top level screen push the menu button so you get to the screen where you can see all your icons. Highlight the one you want to move. Push the menu button and select move. Move to desired location and click the trackball to plant it there.

To amplify my original post: you will always have one icon for each e-mail account you have set up in BIS. You will also have one "Messages" icon that is the merged total of all the accounts you have. If you don't care which account is which you can move all the individual account icons somewhere out of the way and only have the consolidated one showing. Personal choice. Some people want each account displayed separately.

Or you can hide the icon by scrolling over it>hit menu>hide. I have 3 e-mail accounts and only use my messages icon because e-mails from all accounts will show there. One icon is better than clicking on three seperate e-mail icons...

    Thanks ! That works excellently.

I laughed at the "Crack"berry thing, but I gotta tell ya, it is very addicting. I am amazed at all I have found it to do so far and I have barely scratched the surface.
