I don't get them either.... that said LINE is huge in some markets, and their Stickers is one of the reasons (may be a cultural thing). Seems as if BlackBerry is just copying everything that works for the other IM and hoping something "stickers".

But hey if it adds a copule of more BBM users, and adds some additional revenues.... I'm all for it - even if I never plan on using them.

I don't see the appeal. They seem childish and pointless to me. I guess this is how they are planning to make mucho mucho dollars from bbm?

I wish them well but I will not be using the free ones or buying any.

this is something to generate revenue. It doesnt matter if we like them or not. If blackberry can make some money from this we dont really care if its a gimmick or not. Obviously its not for everyone but someone must like them otherwise they wouldnt be so popular. i personally think they are not very applicable to what I use BBM for but maybe in other businesses or circles they are popular. We cant question BBM and their ability to try and make this a profitable business because if they cant then they will have to get rid of BBM which would probably be the end of blackberry. Lets hope it is successful to generate some cash.

You don't have to like stickers to realize BlackBerry would be stupid not to include them. It's bigger than Pokemon in Asia. If this brings in much needed revenue and gets the younger crowd interested in BBM, then bring them on.

Tooooooooo Laaaaatee!!!! This could have / should have been dumped in with the next real update (cross platform video chat). I know they need to monatize, take small careful steps, but sheeesh. Look at all the really useful improvements to the camera we saw in the 10.3 leak, but no here is stickers.

The only thing I like about stickers is that they are big enough to make it clear what they are. The emoticons are just too small and have no hover labels or anything. Half the time I need to ask my wife what she sent if she uses anything other than the ROFL, hug or kiss.

If someone doesn't like them can just not use them, but is good they are there for the ones that like it, I personally don't find them useful but yesterday we were playing with them and it was fun, my kids definitely like them, so is good to have the option.

Anyone know if once you buy the stickers if you have them permanently or if they have limited amounts of usage?
