I use FastTube for watching favorites when not signed in, StereoTube for music playlists, sideloaded YouTube for fun and to show people that Android apps run at native speeds. I never use the browser version of YouTube except when websites link to it. I've never had problems with it but it's slow sometimes.

So you turn off Flash and you get an error message on YouTube?
I don't know how mine manages to work. There's a html 5 exploit (demo) page called filldisk(dot)com which uses multiple sub-domains to bypass html 5 local storage rules in the browser.
It's quite safe to visit & plays really corny music while filling your hard-drive with cat images - until you press the "stop the madness" button, at which stage it will undo it's work. (I'd link to it, but I think the mods would slap me into oblivion).
Anyway, this site will not work with the BB10 browser in Private Mode (or with java script disabled in any other browser). I assumed this was because Private Mode prevented local caching?
Anyhow, my point is.... even in Private Mode with Flash disabled, YouTube plays beautifully in my Z10 native browser.
(If anyone could explain how this is happening, or how I'm mistaken about Private browsing, I'd be grateful).

I didn't touch my settings at all. It was just a random error (it stated that I needed to update flash???). Right now youtube works for me in the browser, so no problems there for me.

Well...i don't know what to do so kcuf it, BlackBerry you are dead to me...I'm going to Apple. I ****in hate BlackBerry and I supported them for so long. Think I'll run over my z10 with the car and record it with an iPhone and then upload it to YouTube and then watch it on the iPhone...because I can't on a BlackBerry.

Just a hilarious visual! I'm sorry you're having trouble with your YouTube I have many of the same issues.

Thanks for the replies guys, sorry about my frustrations regarding YouTube and my phone. Still not working and probably never will.
I used to love this company so much but they broke my heart too many times.
...and no, I won't run her over. She can still do a lot of good things.

I'm using the mobile version of the site and I haven't experienced any issues. Every once in a while I get a video that won't play as it says it can only be viewed on a PC, but it's incredibly easy to just choose another video of the same thing. I'm sure there is a way around it but who knows. Never bothered me enough yet for me to get pissed haha.

My YouTube works in app, and in browser. I ended up doing a security wipe which fixed my issues.

I thought the browser was the "answer" to the app problem? Seems not after all.

I tried fast tube, but videos don't play in the background like the Web launcher does. OP if all else fails just doing a security wipe will fix most issues.

I'm getting these two messages whenever I try to watch you tube. Used to work fine. I think u must have reset something. How do I switch between Web and mobile browser?

    Posted via CB10

Edit: seems to only do it for the videos u want to watch. I apparently can watch cats playing with water faucets all I want.
