We can all agree that qnx is an established software that is used everywhere from shuttles in space to cars on earth. Its been around for a while my question is how come it was bought cheap and doesn't it make any money? Besides for rim doesn't it have other revenue coming in from all these other products its used for?

Money coming from the governments they serve, money from onstar and now money from RIM.

QNX will gain a boost because it will be able to be launched into a much larger eco-system.

I heard they do about 40 million a year in revenue, at least that was the number before RIM bought them.
