Once a message is deleted from your device, it is gone for good - no way to recover it. That being said, you may have a memoury issue, which will cause your texts, emails, and call log to automatically delete themselves. This is kind of like self-preservation mode for the device, as it needs at LEAST 10MB to operate in stable condition.
