I truly hate this alert that pops up when I'm trying to check my appointments, date, or messages from my lock screen. I've completed the tutorial but it has never stopped popping up. Has anyone else been able to get it to stop?

It's not my first choice, but I've learned a hammer and some elbow grease can stop just about anything on a phone.

What does the alert say? I'm not exactly sure what you're referring to. Are you able to capture a screenshot?

It does this when you fail to accurately swipe up in case you've forgotten.

You could just use the hardware alternative?

Maybe delete the BlackBerry help app?

I can reproduce this on my passport if I swipe 'wrong' a few times

I know why it comes up, but I don't need it to. It's really stupid. You've had to swipe up since BB10 first came out. I don't need it to remind me now, especially when I'm trying to check for the information under the dialogue box. I tried deleting the Help app, I can't.

It does not go away...I too see this as a design flaw in the OS. I have my classic since over a year, and still I get this message when I do a wrong swipe or touch the screen in a specific way.

You probably won't get the message on your Passport because it doesn't have a toolbelt.

This is by far the most annoying the phone does.

Just throwing it out there, but have you followed the instructions? Maybe following them will end the tutorial.
