BlackBerry Super Bowl ad debut inspired by Fantastic Four and is built on what the device actually cannot do.!!

Glad to see Blackberry on the highest paid commercials on television. Hope to see many people asking about it at the water coolers across America tomorrow. Does the power outage create a moment to forget about the commercial due to something bigger going on? Let's hope not.

I think that may be the end result, that people will be talking about power outage vs commercial... I hope not but....

The ad itself was fine, it's just not the approach Blackberry needed.

Needed to see the phone more... and it needed to scream to people one way or another that this is a NEW Blackberry and not the same old Blackberry we're used to.

The average person went away from that commercial knowing nothing. Pretty forgettable.

Oh? and what could Blackberry show in 30 seconds that would immediately make you want to buy the phone?

I have no idea what BB is doing, but they seriously need to clean house and focus heavily on the marketing dept. That commercial was forgettable before it even ended. The commercial in combination with the unveiling is starting to make me scratch my head a little.

I would have liked to close with a shot of the phone, but 30 seconds? Not bad.

Doritos's sheep for sale was the best IMO.

I thought it was well done and a great way to build awareness to an audience that likely doesn't know bb is still around. They need to follow up now and provide specifics on its capabilities in other ads and commercials.

Wouldn't sharing it still spread the word about Blackberry 10. This is the only phone commercial in the superbowl so far and probably will be the only one. So that says something about Blackberry. If I were not privy of the greatness of Blackberry 10 already I would wonder why Blackberry ( a company that is according to every major carrier's store I have went into before the launch on Jan 30th said was going bankrupt) could or would spend MILLIONS on a commercial. Something has to be going on here let me check it out at the website posted. So yes please post this everywhere to build up more awareness of BB10 based on the future of Mobile Computing which is QNX.

I don't think it was a bad ad, but it also wasn't one that blew me away.

The URL is only flashed on the screen for a couple of seconds, and some people might not remember it. Blackberry also needs to work on SEO. If I google "Blackberry Z10" I don't see the site they want me to go to on the first page.

The commercial was just okay. The Pre Super Bowl BlackBerry commercial was much better. They should have just used that.
