I have a BlackBerry Bold 9900 (for about one year now, and it still feels new!) and a PlayBook.

While I want BlackBerry to do well with its new products and OS10 software, I am still completely satisfied with my 9900. I still even have a use for the PlayBook because it will natively play Channel4 on Demand and the only other tablet that will do it is the iPad, which I will never buy - overpriced, overrated! :P

The PlayBook also has a nice RSS reader ... now frequently, it is true, the Adobe components used by the BlackBerry News and the Flash Player leak memory and the performance is bad, but often it's as simple as closing all open apps and reopening them and it will work better ... and after all I got my PlayBook for a knockdown price The Bridge is useful too of course ...

And what's more I like the news of a new BBOS device being released, not particularly because I will buy it, but because it's evidence that BlackBerry still have commitment to BBOS - which is what I want to continue using for at least another year, along with BIS.

I was hoping for BB10 on PlayBook but if it means bad performance, i.e. even worse than the PlayBook already is, then why bother ... as long as they commit to supporting their phones ... and who says they won't? The Curve 8530 is still being sold and even BBOS 5 still gets occasional updates!

I still love my BlackBerry and have zero desire to switch to a Galaxy or any other 'quad-core, 4GB RAM, Gorilla glass' gadget ... maybe I feel this way because I don't own stock in BlackBerry, I just enjoy using my devices.

This holds true, I even get emails more often from the beta zone to test a new OS5/6/7 app, and well they even made BBM Channels for the BBOS and not just 10.

Of course I still feel happy with my BlackBerry Z10!

I don't understand stand why a decision not to update a two year old device with a new operating system would make me think less of my device. Nor should the fluctuations of a fickle stock market have any bearing on how I perceive my Z10.

Yeah, just checked my Z10 and apparently it still works, even when the stock price is below $15.

Well, I don't have any device made by BBRY as of now, I'm using an iPhone 4S but I'm looking forward to buying a Q10 as soon as I have the cash for it.

...which is why I believe much of the negative sentiment on these forums since Friday is nothing more than trolls trying to stir the pot here.

I'm perplexed as to why anyone would be unhappy with their current BlackBerry device because of the Q1 report on Friday.

I bought my Z10 not because the stocks are high or it is the number 1/2/3/4/5 mobile phone but because I enjoy using it.

Whenever I use my Nexus 7, I get frustrated because I keep on activating Google Now (from constantly swiping up) or keeps on swiping to the right whenever I wanted to go "back" and nothing happens.

I'm a huge BlackBerry fan and have used them for a long time but my patience is really wearing thin and I might go try a galaxy device soon, like a g4s but in the smaller Form since I can't do that huge size. The reason is simply that my Q10 fails miserably at some common tasks that even my 9900 was fine at. The primary one is Maps. BlackBerry maps suck. Period. Add that to the fact they don't support the region I live in most of the year (Central Europe) and I have a phone with less navigation capability than my old 8320. Even bbmaps on my 9900 had The Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia supported, but BlackBerry maps on BB10 does not. How is that even ******* possible in 2013? How is that not resolved yet?

If it were not for that issue I'd be very happy with my Q10, taking into consideration it's a new, developing OS. My other small gripes I have will be resolved soon I think, and they are minor. The Maps thing is beyong unacceptable. Even the Scandinavian countries have no support. How are countries like Denmark, Sweden and Norway left out of map support in 2013 but they have Nigeria. This is supposed to be a ******* business device.

Yup, my Z10 still works just as well as it did before Friday. My only regret/disappointment was signing on with Verizon.

I am still happy enough with my BlackBerry to not have any desire to switch platforms. IOS/android just don't cut it for me.

The Q10 is amazing! It's super fast, best keyboard, and is the most responsive device i've ever touched.

I have faith that the company will push through to a better standing in the U.S. mobile market.

I'm OK with my 9850 and pb but I'm no longer happy with them because I'm tired of checkerboarding browsers and lag and and stutters. They served me well except for those things. The thing is that I don't know if I can believe what the company says any more. I wondered that before and now even more so.

Good post. And that is the right attitude about no BB10 on the PlayBook! I am happy with my Z10. I have definitely been curious about other devices but I don't see myself switching!

I still keep the faith too, because BlackBerry has built an awesome phone in the Z10. I'll probably get a PlayBook too in time...just not a priority right now. The Z10 will suffice for now.

I absolutely love my Q10. Knowing I have a phone that will continue to improve with software updates feels so good. Like you mentioned above, the fact that BBOS 5 users still receives updates only means they will continue to do the same for BB10. Everytime a new update comes out I feel like a little child and want to know everything about it =P
