I just upgraded by Verizon Curve to OS 4.5. I thought I would get Docs to go but I do not see it on there. Is there something extra I have to do to get it? Thanks.

Is there an application folder that you can look in?

When you did the upgrade did you check the box next to INSTALL for docs to go?

If not then you'll need to hook back up to DM, click the install box and continue.

I did not see that box to check. Do I have to reinstall all over again?

By default, the box is not checked in Desktop Manager to install.

i still suggest hooking your device up to DM and installing.

    When you go to:

    Options
    Advanced Options
    Applications

    Do you see it there?

You don't need to reinstall the OS, NO.

Just need to go into the app loader and add Docs To Go.

Ok I am there now. A lot of other Apps are checked. Do I have to uncheck those?

Just make sure Docs to Go is checked. The others should say no change or no action...something like that.

Then hit continue. It takes a little while to load it.

Let me know how it goes.

Once you have Docs to Go on your device, follow this thread to add Sheet To Go (Excel):

I know I can upgrade to get Excel sheets ut what about PDF'S? Am I able somehow to download PDF's and save them in docs to go?

No. DocsToGo is designed for Microsoft Office documents, not the Adobe PDF documents.

You can save PDF to media card, but you can not view them. The work around is to attach them to an email to yourself. BlackBerry Attachment Viewer does support PDF.

There are third party solutions too. Nature abhors a vacuum.

If you buy the Premium edition of DocsToGo then you get PDFToGo as well but this cost $69, there is another product here SLG Mobile, Inc. that I have never used that might also do the job for $19.95
