Always off at night while sleeping...also, not sure why but my battery seems to last longer during the day if I charge it while the phone is completely shut down.

Nope. I'm on call 24/7 for a variety of reasons. It sits on Vibrate next to my pillow
Haha i always put my phone next to my pillow at night as well it became a habit, but i think that's actually bad for your brain in the long term

Do you? Call me addictive but I don't. I gotta mention that my landline numbers runs on my blackberry, too, I got no additional phone for that. I'm feeling it would be irresponsible to turn it off, 'cause who knows if some of my family/friends is going to have an accident and wanna call me. What about you?
    I choose off

Auto on/off from 9-3 weeknights and 9-6 weekends.
Once I know what a new device's battery life is after a few weeks, goes on the cradle every night.

I have set auto on/off at 5AM/11PM and normally put my bb for charging when i go to sleep. why to be disturbed while sleeping. It has been experience of getting unwanted calls/spamers when I be in deep sleep some time so become very irritative.

For those of you who are getting spam calls, have you considered using "answer tones?" I've noticed I don't get any since I started using answer tones a few years back.
    Just a thought.

At night it goes on the charger on my bedside table with active profile "phone calls only". It serves as my only phone and alarm clock.

^^ What does that mean to say that your landline numbers (plural, no less) run on your BB? Do you have multiple "landline" numbers + your cell number somehow ringing to your BB? When I moved offices I had a former landline number "ported" to a cell phone, but now I'm curious about what kind of phone setup you have in place. Maybe I'll learn something about the kinds of things that can now be done with phone lines and BBs. Or maybe I just misunderstood your comment.

I used to use the auto on/off feature just to save battery power, but now I typically just put it into bedside mode or possibly just on silent. Rarely do I actually turn it off any more.

Off from 9 or 10 pm until 8 am; unless a family member is still out and about. Between wrong numbers and annoying calls, I just leave it off; charging every two-three days ovenight.

Since my "lightning bolt has decided to go MIA after I updated, turning it off to charge is the only way I know it IS charging!

I'm not young enough or popular enough to worry about late night calls plus I have a landline for such things.

I'm on call at any given time. Mobile constantly. The important folks can get through, anyone else can speak to my VM and I'll answer when I'm available.

I use to use the Auto on/off but then I hated always having to lock the orientation. Now I leave my phone on all day, and all night. The only time it's off is when it's about to start rebooting.
