Curious to see who actually uses this feature; when it was first announced/released it seemed everyone was in a hoo-rah about revolutionizing the touchscreen keyboard. Now, I haven't seen one post/comment about it in the last 6 months...

I used it when I first got my hands on a Z10, but after a while, it felt very unnatural and more of a hassle. After using my LG G Pro (Android 4.1 Jellybean) for sometime, I can honestly say that I prefer that touch keyboard over the Z10's. I've gotten less typos, and I am able to type faster on it than the Z10 and it's word suggestion and word prediction is very good.

My gf stopped flicking keys on the touchscreen a while ago and told me it was a novel feature, but not really useful. She also noted that the words appeared too small over the keys. I know there are space limitations, but the suggested words just seemed cramped and hard to read... For whatever reason, we just haven't used this feature since we first got the phone.

    Do you use this feature?

I find it very useful when typing with one hand, but don't use it when I have both hands available.

I use it all the time. Not exclusively but when I know a common word or phrase is about to be typed, it can really string it together nicely and save a lot of keystrokes and time.

It depends on what I'm typing. If it is something that I type often. Then I know the words will be there after certain letters are typed. It is fast when it comes to short sentences that I type often.
Also good for large worded that I don't know how to spell.

I did type half of the post with swipes as well. !!

Always.....if you use it, and you know how the words appear, then it is slick.

All the time. It knows what words I normally use. I can write 90% of my sentences with just flickering on the words. It's the fastest thing I have ever seen.

All the time. Even typing this I'm using it. It sometimes knows what I'm going to type before I even know lol

I sometimes use it, sometimes don't. It depends what it is picking up. For example, in this posting it has saved me some typing that would not be so easy single-handedly. It has its uses.

I always use one handed typing. Love the swiping. Going back to Android and two handed typing is like the dark ages. Hard to believe people tolerate it.

Single handedly baby! Jogging and flicking at the same time . If you are using 2 hands, then sometimes it might be irrelevant but sometimes if you say the same things over and over again it does benefit to flick... I'm doing it right now with my left hand and I'm a righty... help I can't stop it's too fun

YES and I LOVE it! I was just talking to a friend at work today about this actually. I find myself typing with one hand more often than two lol I just feel like its faster for me to do that and swipe up than to use 2 fingers. I have had it for so long now that it honestly predicts nearly every word! Also, idk what it is about it, but swiping up to complete the word so I don't have to hit the space bar feels so satisfying I love my Z10 keyboard!

If all you're doing is having short IM or text conversations with people, you may end up not using it.
For people like me, who are travelling day in and day out, with hardly any time to get the laptop up to type out emails, the flick is the best thing ever.
Regardless of your grammar skills and your typing speed, it is always a better decision to flick things up!

I use mine all the time!!!

Most of the time, just depends on what I'm writing and is mostly used one handed. I like that it picks up some words and phrases in my native language(papiamentu, not supported) and actually suggests them in perfect order! Also use it as a method of spellcheck when I'm not sure about the spelling of a certain word.
    (almost completely typed while swiping)

I am on the one handed bandwagon.
I don't use it with two hands because it's just quicker to bash with two thumbs

I use this feature pretty much all of the time. It saves me a ton of time because my keyboard knows me quite well. I often just have to type a few words and I am able to flick the rest. In fact the more I use it the better it predicts my words.
