Actually, those are the wrong headphones unless you have a headphone amp........ those HD800's would not be able to be properly driven without one. HD595's are as high end as you can go without requiring an amp. Even the HD595's benefit a decent amount with an amp.
i listen to music and watch videos on my storm2...why would you not use your pda for a music player, who wants to carry around 2 devices and chargers
No.. do not consider Berry a music device. That said, I'm checking out some radio apps but I don't expect them to stay long.
Lol. Wait until you hit your late 40's and you really won't give a d*mn about arguing.....especially over the internets.
A friend of mine asked me yesterday if I've tried using my Torch as a music device (she just got the Style, her first Blackberry....she's disappointed she can't download themes after I showed her mine). She's been using Pandora.
I guess it's something I should look into at some time. But I've have had iPods for the last 6 years and since I carry a purse it hasn't been an issue carrying 2 items.
Also I have Sirus XM for the car so.....
I listen to Pandora and I've got music on the memory card.
I use Pandora and slacker, and sometimes podcasts..
I use my ipod in my truck, and usually a computer if Im at one.
wow take the but t plug out ur @ss.... very O.D.
I used to listen to music on my bb, but since I got a ipod touch (4gen) last year as a gift I haven't turned back to bb... Ipod's are jus better for categorizing music and artwork.. As always my bb is there by my side for everything else!

i work to much to even listen to music.
when i go to the gym i listen to my shuffle. by far the best and most convenient way to listen to music.
the berry is clunky and if you try to turn it up you can run the risk of changing the song.
Shuffles don't have the best sound, but, yes, they are convenient. I've got three of them. They are by far the worst sounding of the 4 models of iPods I own. The best sounding is also the oldest iPod I've got--the old 40GB hard drive unit (I forget the model). The nano sounds second best, about a tie with the touchs. The Mini is right behind them. And the shuffle is a distant third. (Id describe it's sound characteristic as "indistinct, less musical, and warm"--adjectives that are both subjective and imprecise, but that's the best I can do) However, it's the music player i most often listen to, on the go, when I'm not listening to Pandora on BB.
Oh it's only a Basik arm with a cheap cartridge. Nothing like as good as the Ittok, I'd love to fit it out with a high-end arm and cartridge but money is short. In fact the Basik arm is not really what should be fitted to a Linn LP12 under any circumstances but I have to live with it for the time being. It still allows me to derive untold pleasure from listening to my vinyl though.
It also of course allows me to transfer that vinyl pleasure to CD via a Pioneer dedicated CD recorder and thence to my Blackberry Storm. I'm not that technically minded and I don't doubt that there is some loss of music quality in the process, but some of the sound quality that exits my Linn does seem to end up on my Blackberry. Which is great for listening in the car.
It's definitely not the"best" by comparison for listening to music as mentioned, but, in the gym or the dojo setting, it works great. Different headphones make all the difference, IMO.

Meets my needs when listening to music and who wants to carry around an extra device when you dont need to
I still use an ipod, it's 16gbs and my phone only has an 8gb card. I had some movies on my Torch until I got bored of them all.
Yeah. Works for me.

i use my itouch when i'm o the move but when i'm at work and doing some paperwork, i prefer my berry.. :))
My BB is my music baby :) Use it to listen to music and been great all the time.
Nah. I stick to my iPod touch for music.
But i didnt buy it to specifically listen to music on, the sounds not to bad so its a bonus..
I prefer my iPod for music, but nothing wrong with using your blackberry for music either.
I'm a former iPhone user so I've just been used to the built in iPod so I have a 16GB micro SD in my BB and the MP3 player works great I was surprised with the quality of the sound ... I love my BB
since I got my torch and 32gb SDcard I use it for music. Still waiting for a decent media player that supports last.fm scrobbling though :( Or maybe an add on that would add it to the bb player. If it can push the now playing track to BBM surely that same info can be applied to an app which would scrobble?! It puzzles me that no one has made one. Charge 99p, make millions!
My BlackBerry makes a good backup device for listening to music when I don't want to carry another device with me for music and need my phone. :)
