well, let's see. my most recent backup was an LG Voyager. Except that I gave that to my son. Then there was my LG Env. Which I gave to a friend of mine that I carpool with. Next on the list was my motorola Q (silver), which I actually SOLD to a gentleman that I bowl with (man, was HE desperate).

So I suppose, that the only phone that I actually have, that I can USE, is an old motorola v710 flip phone.

My backup is my Nokia 6085 flip phone. It's still active on another line, but I could always switch SIMs.

...plus, I try and regularly backup the data on my Bold on a few hard drives.

Never. I always sell my old phone as soon as I buy my current one. It keeps the cost of switching phones every few months to a minimum.

I'm notorious for losing phones so when I had the oportunity to purchase a phone, I did. My back-up phone is the Nokia 5310 and if for some reason I need a blackberry I still have my 6230 that was replaced last year.

I kept my Motorola KRZR as my backup phone.

My husband and I have been rather lax about selling or donating our old phones (we usually keep them for the full 2 years for New Every 2 so they don't exactly have much resale value at that point anyway) and found a total of 7 phones to donate when we upgraded in November

Since I got my Bold my old 8820 is my back up. My kids keep asking for it but so far I've resisted. I offer them my older Q9H but no takers. LOL!

When I went to purchase my first BB I was about a year and a half from my upgrade so I decided to do the add a line option for $9.99 and will keep my first Verizon phone active as a backup/ work phone.. As a new Verizon customer I feel somewhat helpless as far as a backup.. With ATT I could just swap sims to an older phone in a pinch!
