Does anyone know of a reliable solution for the lack of area code info ie city or state displayed on calls. It seems that rim does not pay the company with the rights to this software so we may have this simple service. Please help as I find this service very helpful.

There used to be an app supporting this, but I've yet to hear if a suitable replacement has emerged. I believe it was Berry-A-Code.

Berry-A-Code still works great on pre-OS 4.7 phones. It's also free.

it seems to be working on 5.0, I installed using the .cod file and forced it via install cod on BBSAK.

Cant test it because google voice keeps calling me with my darn google voice number... i was hoping that it would connect to me to some random line...

The apparent problem (discussed in other threads) is that some outfit has claimed a patent on this type of application so that other 3rd party developers have been threatened when they have released or tried releasing something similar. I don't recall who makes the "patented" program or what it is called.

If you go into your app switcher, does it show that it's running? I've had this on my 8900 since I got it and updated to 5.0.0.348, still works perfectly. I put it on every BB I get my hands on. Great simple but very helpful app.
