Hi guys,

First post here and a new BlackBerry owner (and proud one) .

I have a BlackBerry 8520 and I am with Virgin Mobile in the UK, I want to keep my Windows Live mail (hotmail) accounts.

I noticed that it only updates about every 15 mins (polling).

I would like to have it push to my phone instantly and be able to tell if a message has been read when I use my desktop computer.


Now I see in my BlackBerry there is an option to select the Microsoft Mobile service Protocol, which has everything I want such as instant push emails, sync with read messages. But it says you can't use attachments with this service!! Why is this?


What would be my best alternative with attachments?

My mistake, just made the switch and it seems to work with attachments? And is instant - I like that!
