Both appear to be advertised as the same - "BlackBerry Premium In-Vehicle charger" and also appear to be 1.8A, why the different part #? Is it simply just a packaging difference, retail vs. bulk?

    Thanks,

Possibly slight model improvements between manufacturing dates. I've seen it happen before.

If my assumption is correct, those chargers are essentially the exact same thing but differ in the one digit on the end due to what country/region it is sold in.

I asked a similar question about Z10 batteries previously and Bla1ze had replied back about the product numbering. That thread is at: http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?t=966968

Thanks; I ask because I own both versions - the -001 has been working fine for me on my Z10 then Z30, and I bought some others to put into the other vehicles. Those turned out to be -003's. One of them is DOA, LED doesn't come on, won't charge, nothing. Seller leaving me holding the bag on it, too. I suppose it's my fault for not immediately testing it but the Z30 battery rarely leaves me needing to charge it in the car, so it was literally months before I ever plugged the charger in. First time tried, dead.
