I had no interest in BlackBerrys until the Curve came out because I thought they were ugly. Last year prior to the Curve's release there were a couple of commercials played over and over again on tv and every time one came on, I stopped in my tracks and watched! The Curve was SO pretty in those ads. And I still love the way the Curve looks. More important, though, I love the way it functions.

I thought the old ones were kinda clunky and ugly. They have evolved into a work of art though. I'm glad everyone has good things to say about a curve because I am probably going to get one.
I actually remember the first 850 and 950 models around my city and university campus. I never figured they would have come this far. I never thought of the first models as ugly...only because they were designed to do a task, and it's function before form.
In terms of any of the smartphones out there, I have always found myself comparing them to a BB.
