None of those links work. Someone sent me the link via the BB App word and now i cant find that thread. It is not officially available from the 9900, but i can still download it and it works. Does somsone have the OTA verison?
ANyone else? That link provided is for the iPhone. Someone posted the OTA link on the forum once, but i cant find it. Even though it is NOT officially released for the 9900, it works. Can someone send the OTA link?
I used to have it on my older bb phones. I dont think it is supported for OS7 though. Use the universal search feature to just type what you want, and click google to get the definition.
I just noticed on my 9900 I can set the default search engine to Dictionary.com
There you go, no need for an app.
Set your homepage to google and when you want to search a word press G type the word then press enter.
When I got my 9900 I was surprised to see the app is not supported, one of my most used app on my 9780
I can use the browser but it is not convinient
This sucks
The app has useful functions like e-mailing/texting the definitions to a contact with a couple of keystrokes. That's pretty nifty.
BB browser does that easily, you can send a page address to anywhere you want with 2-3 strokes, not just email and sms but facebook, twitter(direct message and twitt) all IMclients etc
And best of all, if you use Social Feeds you can send it to ALL in one stroke and it will even shorten the link for you.

Page address? I don't know what you're arguing for, maybe for argument's sake, but sending the actual definition has its merits. If I needed a definition I would look for it for myself online - why would I need an URL from someone?

Page address of the definition man, is it not the same thing as sending the definition from an app?
My point is many websites have really good html5 mobile sites indcuding dictionary.com and it's sily to have an app when the browser is fine.
Accuweather, Ebay, Gmail, Google.com, youtube, facebook touch are other perfect examples.
