Could use some help on this one... Something changed yesterday on my device. Previously, to call a contact, I could type a name from my home screen and as I typed the list of contacts would get pared down to just those contacts who matched all the letters I typed. For example, if I wanted to call "Smith, Joe" I would type "S" and all the names starting with "S" would appear. As I typed "m", the choices would get cut back to only those names with "Sm". When I would add the "i", the list would be shortened again to only those with the combination "Smi". And so on...... Now, when I type the name, it only recognizes the first letter I type. In the example, adding the "mi" to the "S" no longer pares down the list, it remains at the top of the "S" contacts.

I did not (knowingly) make any changes to any of my settings. The "Phone / Options / General Options" is set to allow dialing from the home screen.

How about try a battery pull and see if it goes back to normal?
