deleted the ID and set up a new one. I can log into the new id but cannot confirm it on the passport . Then I thought of wiping the passport back to Factory setting. However; the passport shows that BB Protect is enabled and we cannot disable it using the passwords we try. I logged onto the BB Protect site and found there is no device associated to this User Id , i may have rendered the device unusable by deleting the BBID before disabling the anti-theft in BB Protect

You have to be able to sign onto the device with its original ID.

Devices using OS 10.3.2 before sipping a device, you need to disable BlackBerry Protect on then you can wipe it.

Iif your updating to a new phone, all you need to do is set it up and input your BlackBerry ID
