    Can't you do that with any phone, tablet, computer? It will still be locked when powered on again, but the password protects from getting in, not whether or not the device is on.

    risk is that any one can switched off mobile. Then what security is for..? For me this is also a breach i dnt know what you guys think ..

    But what is the risk? You can't access any data. The device is still totally secure. Nothing is "breached".

    Someone could rip the battery out of the phone or throw it against the wall if he was desperate to turn off the device. What would an "off" password do to stop that?
