    Hey everyone!
I recently found that if I use the "location on" feature (under GPS Service), then use google maps, the little blue dot that tells me my location changes from "within 800m" to "within 10m" or less (I have seen it as low as 5m!).

My question is, does this cost me anything? If not then why would anyone pay for VZ Navigator? I mean do you really need a voice telling you where to turn?

Voice navigation is quite terrific when you are in unknown areas and traffic makes looking at a screen hard (or dangerous). The advance warning is also nice - "Right in 4 tenths of a mile" and the name of the street. Last summer maneuvering around downtown and old town Munich with my tomtom was absolutely great - two friends were more than wonderfully surprised and the driver was very happy with voice (in English!).

But, yes, googlemaps can be quite serviceable and its satellite view adds real landmarks to the situation.
