Picture it. . . BB Dev alpha screen and front camera + 9900 style and form factor (of course made a bit taller and minus keyboard) + updated hardware and BB10 on that bad boy. . .sounds like a winner to me. . .(well at least the form factor will be uniquely and undeniably blackbery. . .)
Interesting, I do like the form factor of the current Dev Alpha to be honest, but you can always put the slate form factor with a sliding keyboard, ofcourse there will be a sacrifice in phones depth, here is a comparison with the Torch: BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha vs BlackBerry Torch 9810 Specs
Wish I could actually make a pic of what I'm seeing in my head. . .
Take a 9900, make it as tall as the Dev Alpha, drop the QWERTY, track pad and hardware keys for the dev alpha screen and you have my dream Blackberry. . .(and at least one convenience key still on the device!)
Based on what I saw with the BB10 demos, and this is a dramatic change in my thinking, BB10 eliminates the need for buttons other than volume and power. I think the London shots with what I've seen with BB10 is perfect.
I mean without the keyboard. . .just bold form factor. . .the attached picture isn't my ideal but you get the idea. . .
I think you are really on to something AfroZ! That would look awesome. I love the form factor of my 9930, and even though I wouldn't want a non-physical keyboard, I think when RIM makes a full screen BB10 phone it had better look awesome. And I think your supplied picture is just what they need to make!

. . .After seeing the BB10 virtual keyboard demo I also agree that other buttons really aren't needed. . .it's just that the 9900 is hands down the most attractive Blackberry there is! That premium look and feel with its brushed stainless steel accents. . .any other look will simply look too much like any other touchscreen phone. . . Some sort of mix between the Dev alpha and the immaculate 9900 design would be perfect for me.
