    Hi,

I've recently made the shift from Sony to Blackberry. I love the push email in my berry.

However I find the PC management suite pretty thin. For e.g., I controlled my Sony with desktop software which could (with the sony tethered to the pc via USB/Bluetooth)

a, Send text messages from my pc via my phone
    b. rcv text msgs on my PC
    c. Place phone calls by clicking on a contact (very Outlook like)
    d. Download all my text messages/emails/contacts, (even sync.. tho I don't need the sync part)
    e. Add/modify delete contacts on my PC

There are many such suites for Nokia/Sony.. the one I used (freeware) is called "FLOAT Mobile Agent" it is found at fma.sourceforge.net/index2 dot htm

A look at the screen shots explains a lot.

Summary: I'm surprised something like this does not exist for a phone as popular as the Blackberry. I realize that the berry is a pretty versatile device, However having the flexibility of doing things when a PC is around will only make the device even more powerful.
