    I get bumped to First quite often on Delta. I can tell you there's no free wifi in first.

    Interesting to hear it's free on United. Maybe I should switch airlines..

    As an aside, for a while you could get free mobile wifi via a promotional ad on connect. That looks like it's no more so now you have to pay for your mobile wifi surfing time.

    My observation was for the First/Business class cabin with Delta. No free wifi that I could see. I am not sure about United though. I did fly with them a couple of weeks ago, but did not check the availability of free wifi. Will try on my next trip with them.

    Just for the sake of full disclosure I should mention that wifi isn't available on all United flights, yet. They are still upgrading their planes.
