I've searched the forums and can't seem to find anything on how to remove them . They have a little padlock symbol beside each one...does this mean they can't be remove?

You can remove them with CrackMem, which you can download from my sig. The CrackBerry Memory Optimization Procedure also details the process. It's simple and safe, as long as you just move the module containing the pictures and don't delete it.
